CERVESI TRANSLATIONS provides the service of CERTIFICATION and AUTHENTICATION of the documents translated even them already translated (after a severe revision).
Contracts, Notarial deeds, Registry Office certificates, need to be certified or authenticated, in order to be considered valid in foreign countries.

AUTHENTICATED TRANSLATION (CERTIFIED TRANSLATION):

An authenticated translation, or as it is also known, a sworn or certified translation, is made official by the attestation the translator gives at the court, which means that the translated document maintains the same legal value as the original one. The final document consists of the original document, the translation and the attestation report. Authenticated translations are subject to duty stamps, the first one of € 16,00 on the first page of translation and then a duty stamp of € 16,00 every four pages and a duty stamp of € 16,00 plus a duty stamp of € 3,84, on the attestation report.

LEGALIZATION:

A legalized translation or legalization is the step that follows authentication and it is necessary when the translated documents have to be submitted to authorities in foreign countries.
